Feature in Recreation Management Magazine
We’re excited to share that Aqua Creek Products was featured in the November issue of Recreation Management magazine as part of the industry feature article, “On the Deck or In the Water – Accessorize to Extend & Enhance Pool Programming” by Dave Ramont.
The article explores how today’s aquatic facilities are using thoughtful accessories - on the deck and in the water - to expand programming, improve user experience, and increase flexibility. Aqua Creek was interviewed specifically on the evolving role of accessibility in modern aquatic design.
As Marley Cunningham, Director of Marketing at Aqua Creek Products, shared in the article:
“A decade ago, adding a lift or accessible entry was often treated like a box to check, usually at the end of a project. Today, accessibility conversations are starting right alongside things like lighting and water features.”
We’re proud to be part of a broader industry shift that views accessibility as essential infrastructure, not an afterthought - and as a key component in creating inclusive, future-ready aquatic facilities.

Feature in PoolPro Magazine
There was a time in the not-too-distant past, when the idea of a company focused on disability access gracing the cover of a leading pool industry magazine would’ve been unheard of. But times are changing, and this moment is proof.
We’re beyond proud to share that PoolPro Magazine has named our Owner and CEO a 2025 Power Woman, and featured her on the cover of their May/June issue. This recognition isn’t just personal - it’s symbolic. It marks a powerful shift: accessibility is no longer an afterthought - it’s a front-page conversation.
From a kitchen table startup to becoming a national leader in inclusive aquatics, Krystal’s story is one of resilience, advocacy, and impact. Her leadership has helped bring access to the forefront, and we’re honored to see that work acknowledged.
“For those who might typically be excluded from water, this changes their experience. That’s what gets me up every day.” -Krystal G.

Aqua Creek Featured in Private University Products & News
We’re honored to share that Aqua Creek Products was recently featured in Private University Products and News magazine in a Q&A with our Marketing Director, Marley Cunningham. The article, “Ensuring ADA Compliance and Inclusive Access in University Pools,” explores how colleges and universities can exceed ADA requirements to create aquatic spaces that are safe, welcoming, and truly inclusive.
In the interview, Marley emphasizes that accessibility goes beyond regulations:
“I think most able-bodied people are surprised by how much they can do to create a more equitable aquatic experience for their students and staff. The first step, and arguably the biggest step, is first asking the question: ‘What can I do to improve this?’” — Marley Cunningham
The piece covers everything from ADA pool entry requirements to common misconceptions about lifts, funding resources for accessibility improvements, and how colleges can future-proof their aquatic facilities for years to come.
